• step1: Open internet explorer

• step2: Go to tools option and choose internet option.

• step3:Click on connection tab.

• Step4. Click on LAN Settings tab

• Step 5. Click on advanced tab.

• Step6. Enter *.hbti.ac.in as in fig.

Ans.

• Open command prompt.

• Type telnet dc.hbti.ac.in and enter

• Enter your existing user name and enter.

• Enter your existing password and enter.

• Now enter your new password and enter.

• Re-type your new password.

• close telnet window.

• Now you can test your new password on browser.

Q3.  How do i use HBTI email facility ?

Ans. step 1. First set no proxy for hbti.ac.in, as explained in Q1.
Step 2. Take your user name and password from Mrs. Poonam Malhotra / Mr. Saurabh Pandey
Step 3. Now open www.hbti.ac.in on your browser (Internet Explorer).
Step4. Click on webmail image.
Step 5. Enter your user name and password and submit.
Step 6. Now use email facility.

Q4. How do i change the Email  password?
Ans. step 1. First set no proxy for hbti.ac.in, as explained in Q1.
Step 2. Open www.hbti.ac.in on your browser (Internet Explorer).
Step3. Click on webmail image.
Step 4. Enter your user name and password and submit.
Step 5. Click on options link.
Step 6. Click on Change Password link.  You will get  the change password interface as shown below.  Now follow the instruction given below

Enter your Old Password.
Enter your new password  and verify New Password.
New Password and Verify New Password must be same.
Click on Change Password Button.
Next screen will give message "your password has been changed successfully ( If all entries will be correct ) ".

Q8.  What is the address of proxy  server ?

Ans. proxy1.hbti.ac.in and port No. is 3128.

Q9.  What is the ip address of DNS  server ?

Q9.  How do i set internet settings?

Ans.

Step1.click on My Network Places icon, available on your desktop.

Step2. Right click on Local Area Connection and click on properties.
